Childhood is a time for play, imagination, and discovery, and parents will find just that at Lac du Bonnet’s early years educators, Lac du Bonnet’s Children’s Centre and Little Day Buddies Nursery School. Young students will be impacted by a positive environment that reflects a wondrous world to capture children’s imagination through early learning.

Centennial School, for Kindergarten to Grade 6, is known division-wide for its team of innovative, keen, and busy educators who strongly believe in the power of relationships. In partnership with parents, caregivers, and the community, the educators at Centennial School work to inspire children to be critical thinkers; creative problem-solvers; eager, lifelong learners; active community members; and positive, happy people.

Our young students then seamlessly flow into the Lac du Bonnet Senior School starting in grade 7, where teachers and peers will challenge them to strive for excellence with a focus on providing a solid foundation of literacy, numeracy and 21st Century Skills. Students will excel in core subjects, such as English, Math, and Science and are provided with opportunities to participate in Vocational Education and unique learning opportunities, such as Motorsport, Woods, Drama, Art Education and more.

Education in Lac du Bonnet also includes programs for adults. New Directions offers Adult Graduation courses, where adults can receive their diploma as soon as the required credit courses have been completed. J.U.S.T. Training (Jobs, Upgrading, Skills, Training) provides adults with job search and career development assistance.
