We’re Back! And not only are we back, but 2023 will be even bigger and better than our first year in 2022!
Whether you’re looking for new outdoor gear, the next great adventure, or even looking for artistic outlets and products, you’ll find all that and more at The Great Outdoors Expo and Artisan Market! On May 6 and 7, 2023, The Great Outdoors Expo will feature everything that outdoors people could dream of, from building a beautiful backyard oasis to finding the best outdoor equipment and showcasing outdoor activities and adventures.
The Artisan Market will feature Manitoban Artisans and their homemade, handcrafted works of art. The Market showcases various products like jewelry, food and beverages, musicians, painters, woodcarvers, small businesses, and much more!
The LdB Tourism Cafe
The LDB Tourism Cafe is an open forum where you can share the things you have accomplished, projects you are working on, areas where a project may be stalled, and ways we can all work together to support all the fantastic things that make Lac du Bonnet so unique.
The Tourism Cafe is not being designed as another committee. People from your Organization are invited to join as their schedule allows them to participate in these group discussions. Each session will begin with a different topic designed to help your organization build its partnerships, knowledge, or ideas and end with a Round Table session intended to share and identify collaboration opportunities.

Join us for the first-ever in-person LdB Tourism Cafe! On April 11, 2023, Sharalyn Reitlo of Community Futures will present the Proposal Writing Seminar.
LdB Tourism Cafe: Creative Content
On March 20, we’ll be getting together with professional photographer and videographer Noel Linsey who will share tips on creative content.
The Old Hickory Waterside Markets
The LdB CDC, Old Hickory Buildings, the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet, and the Manitoba Made Store have come together with a vision of bringing LdB a new pop-up market series.
After a successful test season during the summer of 2022, we are pleased to announce that the Old Hickory Waterside Market will be back in 2023 with more vendors and dates.
