Project Scope

Quick Overview

The CDC Website Redesign project was designed to:

  • Update the look and information on the CDC Website to provide more balanced information about Lac du Bonnet and the CDC.

  • Create a more engaging, user-friendly website by incorporating tools and technology changes developed since the original website was launched in 2018.

  • Update the Lac du Bonnet CDC website to comply with the AMA’s Accessibility Standard for Information and Communication regulations.

Project Start

In August, the Lac du Bonnet CDC determined that there were gaps in the information provided on the CDC website. The website focused only on Community Profile information and didn’t include enough information about the Organization itself.

A website redesign plan was structured, and work began to redesign and upgrade the website’s appearance, information, user-friendliness, and Accessibility Standards, as per the Accessibility for Manitobans Act, which will require all Manitoba websites to comply by 2024.

This project is expected to be completed in October, and the work is being done in-house by the Lac du Bonnet CDC Economic Development Officer.
